What is the matter with Renee Zellweger and period films? In the recent past most of the movies which Renee portrayed were period movies.

'Rein ne reussit comme le succes' - French. so goes the famous saying .. "nothing succeeds like success". I know that cold mountain and chicago were oscar winners (she won one of it - if i am not wrong. Her role in both were equally acclaimed). I think, the other two bit the dust, and, I guess, she wont figure in period movies in the future !!
I liked her only in Jerry Maguire & Me, Myself and Irene.
Others...a big no.
