In my opinion...
"Don't" are:
Bel Canto
The Alchemist

"okay to read" is:
One Night at the call center

"Good Read" is:
The Detective
Snapshots from Hell
The Rage of Angels

"Must Read" is
The World is Flat
Freakonomics

I must write a detailed blog on The World is Flat to justify why I say it as a must read.

Yeah, one more thing. Bel Canto and The Alchemist are considered a must read by many people. But I didn't find so. Taste does matter, you knew that.

Kumar alias Alwa....Bel Canto was not that good a reading. I read just because I started and waiting till the end for something good happen. The book was strongly recommended by one of my friends. To be honest, I wanted you to "enjoy" reading this book as I did. Now the cat is out of the bag...hi hi hi...free vidu machi.

i glanced through the first few pages of "the world is flat". the author has definitely made an impressive start.

just like seeni, i think he has fallen in love with infy. he 'picks up' or 'makes up' the title of the book from Nilekani's comment on globalization that the "ground is leveled"

i am looking forward to seeni's review on the book. i am not sure if i can get my hands at it now ..

Trying to squeeze sometime to blog but failing. I have quite a lot to write but really a little time now-a-days. Work has been pretty hectic for the past few weeks and will go on like this for next couple of weeks too.

Just to put it in a very simple way, if you think you know about all this globalization stuff already, read that book. You will be amazed to learn that there are helluva things that you didn't know.

More reviews in my next blog...
