Point of View

What do you think?

Background of this post:

Background 1:
There is a book with a title 'Why Men Don't Listen and Women Can't Read Maps: How We're Different and What to Do About It'. I was not aware of the complete title, I thought the title was just 'Why Women Can't Read Maps'. I thought women can't read maps.

Background 2:
I was showing the cluster map of visitor locations of my blog to a female and flaunting. While showing the map I just asked her to locate China. She pointed her finger at the location given in the map above. I suddenly rememberd about the book that I mentioned above. So, started asking her to locate few other countries (while controlling my laugh). Her answers are showed in the map above. I seriously started thinking that women can't read maps.

Conclusion:
I did a little bit of research to find out if there is any scientific reason behind this and found that it is just a hoax. Read this.

Above all, Anuradha's comment in this blog's comment section has proven that women CAN read maps. (Especially with that 'Zimbabwe' thing. I didn't know where Zimbabwe was until I read your comment).

ps: Anu & Arasan - sorry if you had expected something great from me about this map. :(

Elixir of life - Recipe

Required:
Red or black Grapes - 4 Kg
Sugar - 3.75 Kg
Cinnamon stick - 1 or 2 (of length 2-3 inches)
Wheat - 250 grams
Air tight Container - 1 (the old styled pickle jar suits well)

Making Procedure:
Remove the grapes from the stick (or stem?) and wash it properly. Dry the grapes to get rid of the moisture. There should not be any moisture at all on the grapes.

Put half kg grapes in the container. Add half kg of sugar on top of the grapes. Add a handful of wheat on top of grapes and sugar. Repeat adding grapes, sugar and wheat in the same manner until all this lasts. Add the cinnamon stick on top.

Close the container air tight. Note that there should not be any moisture at all. Keep the container in a place with no heat or moisture nearby. Once a week open the container carefully and stir the contents using a dry spoon. Do it carefully such a way that no moisture gets into the container. Repeat this stirring exercise once a week for 60 days.

At the end of 60 days, pour the contents of the container into a glass thru a filter. Just pour it do not squeeze the residues. Throw away the residues. The filtered liquid that comes out of the container is the elixir of life, it is also known as Wine.

End Note:
More the number of days you keep tastier the wine becomes.

Champagne is a variance of wine. If you want to have Champagne....well, go get it in liquor shop.

Thank Note:
Thanks to Jack & Ancy for educating me with this wine making procedure (or should I say vinification process?)

Blues

Just less than 2 weeks to ago. I am not really happy about it. But I can't avoid it. When I look at people around me I am gonna feel even more depressed about it. It is like start of a whole new era. It is start of a whole new decade. I wish I could stop the time from moving on. I feel like I would become a whole new person, though it may not be true. I feel like I am overstressed because of this.

But there is no way out.

Friends Chart

Friends - a person attached to another by feelings of affection or personal regard.

I have a theory. For every 2 years of career life, you loose 50% of your friends that you have made in your career life so far. Look at the chart and a sample data with an assumption that you had 10 friends during the first 2 years of your career & not made friends after that.
Not having friends at your work place would make your life miserable. Having a friend at your workplace would make your (work) life a lot more enjoyable. But I guess there will really be a point at your career where you would not have any friends at all. By adding more friends each year of your career you may put off the stage where you would be with zero friends.

Look back your career life so far to check the validity of this theory and share it.
