Stress vs Sleep & Hair

I am becoming so worse at managing my stress now a days (that doesn't mean that I was any better before). I have even started physical activities like going for a long walk just to manage my stress level. Though a good thing to do that's not helping me much. I think it is time I learnt yoga & meditation. Stress is impacting the number of hours of my sleep. Lesser I sleep in the night higher the stress level next day. More stress again induces more sleep deprivation. It's becoming a spiral effect. I am losing so much of hair lately. I must blame it on the greater stress level and lack of sleep.
How do you manage your stress?

Well you are no alone... I am undergoing the same cycle here...

Following might help
1> Apply MPP once in a while at work...

2> No Laptops, no TV's, No Emails, No Cell Phones...No Tech Talks, No Management Talks, No Economy Talks, No Finance Talks, No Future Plan Talks, No Office stress Talks..
Just take a break..Go for family outing...

3> We should train our mind in such a way that it should off thinking about office after some time. (This is not easy though, most of the time I just worry about work without doing anything productive..that sucks)

4> Meet/Invite some friends and have some Social Life.

5> Plan for a surprise movie/dinner.

6> Office oru naal Scoot vittu Veetla paduthu thoongu..

I like the second point mentioned in the above comment. :-)

1.Buy a guitar/keyboard. There are a thousand piono lesson clips(including tamil songs) on youtube. try it out. you will feel better.

2. Dance. Companies organize DJ night mainly to help its stressed out employees. But don't wait for it. Arrange some party at home(I dint say thanni party ;-)), call your friends and dance for blaring music.

3. Yoga, as you said. But guess what, you have to be strict in practising it regularly...

4. Long drives.

5. Movie nights at home especially on friday or saturday. Watch movies of Vijayakanth, Balayya, TR, Sam Anderson/JK Rithesh. They are great stressbusters.

@ Arasa

1. I have been applying MPP for quite sometime. That's what holding me up still.

2. Family outing - I am yearning for that buddy. Will do it.

3. hmm...way beyond my capability to achieve this. It would be the best if I could achieve. But how?

4. Have no frenz in Pune - that's making my life even worse. And I think I have become too old to make friends. Even the frenz that I have got are family men who doesn't want to spend weekends with me.

5. hmm...surprise who?

6. Did that few times. Not helping cuz the next day becomes messier. I would rather go to office than answer my cell so many times.

Thanks for the suggestions buddy.

2. Dance - will do it. I think I am good at it (but others dont think that way)

3. Yoga, it is.

4. hmmm...that doesn't suit me.
