Rupee has touched 9-year high against USD. Today Rupee closed at 40.15 against 1 USD.
While there is a straight forward benefit to the importers, experts say that there is indirect benefit to the exporters too. Still I am trying to figure that out. Still a novice, eh?

INR gaining against USD thats good for india on one side. India will become expensive for foreign investors....
But Seeni, INR didnt appreciated with Other currencies....
Euro - 54.42
GBP - 79.63
CAD - 37.24
Actually reality is Dollar is depreciating against INR and CAD....
INR is not really appreciating in true sense....
EOD, sitting at onsite I got affected because of this... :(-
I lost 30,000 in this :-(
@ Arasa - As USD is the global currency not appreciating or appreciating against other currencies doesn't really matter.

ooops. I didnt mean that way. Let me rephrase my statement.
Appreciation & depreciation of other currencies (CAD, GBP etc) do not matter so much as USD. USD is superier.
